Eleven dated announcements
Newest-first default matches how Steam presents the feed. Click sort to put the 2025-04-19 wishlist post first (update-5861697595). Titles are the Steam titles, including “Answering the Internet’s Biggest Questions about SWZC,” “Lead Zero Company To Victory on August 27,” and “STAR WARS Zero Company Launch FAQ.” Authors include EA Star Wars, Electronic Arts, and bowserm as filed.
Each row links to the captured Steam news URL. That is the first-party source, not a recap mill. If you need the Launch FAQ answers in wiki form, open FAQ. If you need the Lead article’s systems, open Tactical combat and The Den. This timeline does not rewrite those posts into patch notes they are not.

Announce, pre-purchase, launch
19 April 2025: wishlist and introduce posts, plus the announce trailer. 6–9 June 2026: pre-purchase and Lead Zero Company To Victory. 16 June: 5 Things To Know. 21 July: Q&A. 17–20 August: Final Trailer, previews, one week away. 27 August: Launch FAQ and Thank You From Bit Reactor. Those buckets are why older facts stay on this page instead of leaking into the home docket.
GameSpot, PC Gamer, and Xbox Wire previews exist as professional editorial captures in the research set; they are not Steam community announcements, so they are not extra rows here. Reception aggregates live on the home docket with the 28 August 2026 timestamp.
Announce trailer
The Celebration Japan announce trailer is bound to this updates route as historical media. It is not the homepage video. Homepage and First deployment use the Final Trailer. Tactical combat uses the Gameplay trailer. Keep those three videos on the routes the manifest lists.
When Bit Reactor posts a true patch note later, it should appear as a new gid in this timeline rather than as a silent rewrite of older rows. Until then, launch week is these eleven posts and the thank-you letter. The Final Trailer post (17 August 2026) is not a substitute for the Gameplay trailer route. The Launch FAQ post (27 August 2026) is the sibling of the FAQ page. The Q&A post (21 July 2026) is where Caydence Funk’s 30–40 hour estimate and several systems answers were filed before launch.
Pre-purchase copy from 6 June 2026 must not overwrite launch store flags. Wishlist copy from 19 April 2025 must not overwrite the 53-achievement count or the Mostly Positive capture. Keep those rows visible when you sort oldest-first so the version split stays honest. Authors stay as Steam filed them, including bowserm on the preview and Q&A posts.
